Agenda for a meeting of the Council to be held on Thursday 18 July 2019 at 6.30 pm in the Snape Village Institute

  1. Apologies for absence – to receive apologies
  2. Declarations of interest – to receive any declarations of interest in agenda items
  3. Minutes – to agree and sign the minutes of meetings held on 9 May, 4 June and 26 June (copies attached)
  4. Matters arising
    1. Bridges – to note any progress on works and cost and manufacture of iron works - report by Cllr Duck
    2. Services at the Friarage Hospital – to note response to the signing of the petition and response

received from South Tees NHS Teaching Foundation Trust (information already circulated)

    1. Financial Resolutions – amended version attached for agreement
    2. Beck – clearing it of weed – report from Cllr Duck
  1. Policing report – PC Heather Lees will attend the meeting to discuss policing items and provide an up to date report on policing in the locality
  2. Financial Matters
  1. To approve the receipts and payments since the last meeting (see attached reconciliation and separate paper)
  2. To note hours of work undertaken by the Clerk since the last meeting (see separate paper)
  1. Avenue – to note the report received from A Whitehead and Associates and to agree action – report already circulated
  2. Playing Field Committee –
    1. Draft minutes of meeting held on 4 July – to note draft minutes
    2. Removal of undergrowth on the west side of the field – report by Clerk
  3. Communications from YLCA –
    1. The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and mobile applications) – accessibility regulations – report by Clerk
    2. Other publications – report by Clerk
  4. Planning matters
    1. Update on any planning matters received since last meeting – report by Clerk
  5. Parish Council Newsletter – to agree if newsletter should be issued and its content
