NOTICE OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

Snape with Thorp Parish Council

                        

Agenda for a Meeting of the Council to be held on Tuesday 23 November 2021 at 6.30 pm in the Snape Institute  

  1. Apologies for absence – to receive apologies
  2. Declarations of interest – to receive any declarations of interest in agenda items
  3. Minutes – to agree and sign the minutes of meeting held on 28 September (copy attached)
  4. Matters arising
    1. Do not Litter signs – to note that these have been installed
    2. Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 – to note that the Institute Committee is happy to be involved
    3. Weed in the beck – to note action taken and to agree any further action
    4. Speed activation equipment – Making a Difference application – report by Clerk
  5. Police report – a representative of NY Police is expected to attend the meeting (report is attached)
  6. Financial matters –
  1. To approve the receipts and payments since the last meeting (see attached finance report and reconciliation)
  2. To note hours of work undertaken by the Clerk since the last meeting  (see attached finance report)
  3. To consider whether a tree survey of the trees in the Avenue and those on the village greens is required in 2022 – report from Cllr Duck
  4. To receive a report regarding the budget for 2022/23 and to agree the precept for 2022/23 (see copy report)
  1. Chairmanship training – report by Cllr Duck
  2. Financial resolutions – to receive report from the Clerk and Cllr Hodges
  3. Parking in the vicinity of the village school – to consider comments made by parishioners (copy already circulated) and agree possible action
  4. Planning applications
    1. Ref 21/02440/FUL - Snape Institute – redevelopment of entrance
    2. Ref 21/02491/CAT - Stonehaven – Works to Ash tree
    3. Ref 21/02161/FUL and Ref 21/02162/LBC - Lilac Cottage – Installation of new window and extract fan
    4. 21/02658/FUL - Proposed Extension - The Cart House, Snape Castle Mews

    1. Prices Paving and Stone Ltd – to review any updated information and agree any action
  1. Land at the top of the playing field – to receive a report from the Clerk on responses received to the consultation process and to agree action (see report attached)
  2. Sandbags – to note new sandbags and replacement bags have been received – report by Cllr Duck
  3. To resolve to exclude members of the public and press under item 14 due to the nature of the business to be transacted being prejudicial to the public interest
  4. Grass cutting tender – to agree the approach for 2022 and 2023 – a summary of the tenders received has been circulated separately
