NOTICE OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
Snape with Thorp Parish Council
Agenda for a meeting of the Council to be held on Wednesday 4 December 2019 at 6.30 pm in the Snape Methodist Church
- Apologies for absence – to receive apologies
- Declarations of interest – to receive any declarations of interest in agenda items
- Minutes – to agree and sign the minutes of meeting held on 23 October (copy attached)
- Matters arising
- Bridges – to note progress - report by Cllr Duck
- Response from Highways to issues raised by PC after October meeting – to note and agree any action necessary
- Works vehicles at Cedar Garth – report by Clerk
- Emergency Planning event – to receive report from Clerk regarding a possible event
- Works on trees in the Avenue and on the village green – TPO and Conservation area application to HDC for works (updated report already circulated).
- Policing report – Rep of NY Police will attend the meeting to discuss policing items and provide an up to date report on policing in the locality
- Fatal Accident on Kings Kell – to receive the NYCC report on the tragic accident and agree any action necessary by the Council (report already circulated)
- Financial Matters
- To agree the precept for 2010/21 (budget setting document attached)
- To approve the receipts and payments since the last meeting (see attached reconciliation and separate paper)
- To note hours of work undertaken by the Clerk since the last meeting (see separate paper)
- Playing Field Committee –
- Formal Opening event – to note event held on 16 November
- Meeting with a representative of the Hambleton, Richmondshire & Whitby CCG to discuss the Friarage consultation – to agree a date before 17 January (when consultation ends) for a meeting – please bring your diary so this meeting can be arranged.
- Warm up Hambleton – scheme to help eligible households to access funding for renewables and first time gas heating systems and connections – to note and agree if action is required (information already circulated)
- Planning matters
- Update on any planning matters received since last meeting – report by Clerk
- Parish Council Newsletter – to agree if newsletter should be issued and its content
- To resolve to exclude members of the public and press due to the nature of the business to be transacted being prejudicial to the public interest
- Grass cutting tender – to agree the approach for 2020 and 2021 – a summary of the tenders received has been circulated separately
