Agenda for a meeting of the Council to be held on Thursday 28 May 2020 at 6.30 pm via Zoom

Forty five minutes has been allocated for this meeting so if the business extends beyond this time a further meeting will be arranged.

3. Minutes – to agree the minutes of meetings held on 4 December, 19 February, 10 March and 11 May (copies attached)
4. Matters arising
   1. Bridges – to discuss potential flooding issues at the Marina Bridge and the damaged bridge on Ings Lane – report by Chairman
   2. Highways matters – recent responses including issues at Kings Kell – report by the Clerk
5. Finance matters
   1. Asset register – to note and agree the asset register (copy attached)
   2. To note the annual internal audit report for 2019/20 (page 4 of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2019/20 - copy attached)
   3. To approve the annual governance statement for 2019/20 (page 5 of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2019/20 - copy attached)
   4. To approve the annual accounting statement for 2019/20 (page 6 of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2019/20 - copy attached)

To approve the publication of documents required by the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, the Local Audit (Smaller Authorities) Regulations 2015, SI 2020/404 The Accounts and Audit (Coronavirus) (Amendment Regulations 2020 and the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities (see paper attached)
