NOTICE OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
Snape with Thorp Parish Council
Agenda for the Meeting of the Council to be held on Tuesday 25 March at 6.30 pm in the Schoolroom, Snape Methodist Church
1. Non-attendance of Councillors
1.1 To receive and note apologies from councillors who are unable to attend the meeting
1.2 To consider reasons for absence provided by councillors who cannot attend and resolve the council’s acceptance of these if felt relevant.
2. Declarations of interest – to receive any declarations of interest in agenda items
- Minutes – to agree and sign the minutes of meeting held on 12 December (copy attached)
- Matters arising
- Replacement of the Parish Clerk/RFO – report by Cllr Duck
- Financial Regulations – to receive a report from the Clerk
- Use of Phone box – to receive a report from the Clerk
- Highway matters – to receive a report from the Clerk
- Works to trees in the Avenue and village – to note the works have been completed
- Quickline – connection to Beech Close and wayleave – report by the Clerk
- Policing report – it is hoped that a representative of NY Police will attend
- Financial matters –
- To approve the receipts and payments since the last meeting (see attached reconciliations)
- To note hours of work undertaken by the Clerk since the last meeting (see attached finance report)
- Expected year end position – report by the Clerk
- Website – current agreement and the possibility of moving to gov.uk domain
- Snape Men’s Shed – to receive information from representatives of the Group
- Playing field – to note current fund raising outcomes - report by Cllr Hodges
- Request for the scattering of a relative’s ashes in the Avenue – report by the Clerk

- Receipt of new applications
- ZB24/02414/LBC - Listed Building Consent for replacement of the front elevation window and to replace a plastic section of roof with tiles - Snape Castle Mews
- ZB24/01863/FUL - Application to site Shepherd Hut (5.18m x 2.55m) on driveway as a holiday let as of amended plans dated 10/3 - Buckles House
- Outcome of previous planning applications
- ZB24/02438/FUL - Re-submission of application ref 21/02440/FUL, approval of which expired on 6th December 2024 - Redevelopment of entrance to Village Institute providing a front single storey flat roof extension, disabled access & sanitary facilities & meeting room and porch canopy - Snape Institute – Approved
