Snape with Thorp Parish Council

Minutes of a Meeting of the Parish Council held on Wednesday 23 April 2025 in the Schoolroom, Snape Methodist Church

Present: Councillors John Duck, Liz Watson, Colin Hodges, Richard Poole, Sara Pringle and Cllr David Webster.

1. Apologies for absence – There were no apologies

2. Declarations of Interest – There were no declarations of interest.

3. Planning applications

• • A new application - ZB25/00609/FUL - Erection of new farm building to house livestock - Land Off Mires Lane, was considered.  It was RESOLVED that the Councill had no objections to this planning application

• • Update on any other planning applications

The Clerk advised that apart from 2 new comments from residents there was no further information on the planning portal for the proposed Shepherd’s Hut at Buckles House. 

The Clerk also advised that the Enforcement Officer had contacted her regarding the wall at Jasmine Cottage.  No action was to be taken regarding the wall as this was not in excess of 1m in height but action was to be taken in respect of the replacement door.
