Agenda for the Annual General Meeting of the Council to be held on Tuesday 27 May 2025 at 6.30 pm in the Snape Institute
- Election of Chairman and signing of documentation
2. Non-attendance of Councillors
2.1 To receive and note apologies from councillors who are unable to attend the meeting
2.2 To consider reasons for absence provided by councillors who cannot attend and resolve the council’s acceptance of these if felt relevant.
3. Declarations of interest – to receive any declarations of interest in agenda items
4. Minutes – to agree and sign the minutes of meetings held on 25 March and 23 April (copies attached)

- To note hours of work undertaken by the Clerk since the last meeting (see attached finance report)

- ZB25/00872/SCR | Solar farm screening request - Land Adjacent To Lords Lane Bedale North Yorkshire DL8 2ET – please note I have been unable to find a planning application on the planning portal but correspondence received from Stell Solar Farm was recently circulated
- Update on any other planning applications – report from the Clerk
- Appointment of Councillors to represent the PC at YLCA meetings (see paper attached)
- Biodiversity – standing item – report by Cllr Pringle
- Annual open meeting – to review and to agree any necessary actions
- Items for the Newsletter – to agree items for inclusion in next newsletter
