Agenda for the Snape with Thorp Parish Council Meeting to be held on:

1. Non-attendance of Councillors
1.1 To receive and note apologies from councillors who are unable to attend the meeting
1.2 To consider reasons for absence provided by councillors who cannot attend and resolve
the council’s acceptance of these if felt relevant.
2. Declarations of interest – to receive any declarations of interest in agenda items
3. Minutes – To agree and sign the minutes of AGM meeting held 27th May, 2025
4. Financial Matters.
4.1 To approve the receipts and payments since the last meeting (see attached reconciliations)
4.2 New Printer
5. Planning – 5.1 ZB25/01246/FUL Stell Solar Farm
6. Consideration of the precept - Initial consideration for the year (2026/27)
7. Beck weed –
7.1 Request from Grass cutters to consider spraying regrowth in the stream.
7.2 Note to residents whose homes back on to the beck to kindly request weed removal to not hinder the water flow
8. Avenue - epicormic growth removal - to consider if required this year.
9. Maintenance tender Renewal for next year – to consider who to approach for next meeting.
10. Thank you letters - 10.1 Those involved with play park new equipment.
10.2 Simon Old re painting bridge railings.
10.3 Sarah Lowe for her continued help with PC matters.
11. Highway matters - 11.1 Request drain jetting at Marina bridge and its overflow pipes.
11.2 Drains around the Pub following recent flooding there.
11.3 Request extended gritting route to include down Ings lane past the school.
11.4 No road sign at Salmon lane corner showing west up the village. (Bedale/Well/Thornton Watlass).
12. Reflective bollards Marina bridge round to front street (to replace broken ones).
